Working To Inspire Young Engineers

We are pleased to have provided financial and engineering support together with student mentoring to local secondary school Kelvin Hall for their entry into the 2017 Green Power Challenge - Project Blyth.

Our financial support helped to purchase the electrically driven vehicle kit and our Engineers and Apprentices worked with other local enterprises to support students through the chassis build, bodywork design and performance optimisation.

The vehicle raced in the IET Formula 24 for 11-16 year olds at the KCOM Stadium on 16th July.

This is a great scheme to inspire our next generation of Engineers and get them interfacing with industry at a young age.

Well done to Kayleigh for being selected to represent England Women’s Squad in France in 2016. We were so proud when our valued Process Technician was chosen and the whole company wished her all the best with this prestigious selection.
