Yorkshire based injection moulder, Advanced Plastics Ltd, has secured Regional Growth Fund support to enable continued expansion which will see the company invest in the region of £3million over the next two years.
The company which manufactures technical injection moulded components and complex assemblies for the TierI Automotive and Heating sectors has more than doubled sales over the past two years by securing new contracts to develop products in conjunction with their customers.
The funding will enable the company to relocate into adjacent 50,000 sq. ft. premises at the end of 2012 and expand moulding machine capacity from its current 500t limit up to 1250t, for which some contracts have already been secured. The expansion is forecast to create up to 22 new jobs taking the company's total workforce to in excess of 100 employees.
Joint owners of the business, Rob Anderson and Chris Pearson have a very positive outlook for the future believing that there will always be a strong demand for innovative manufacturers such as Advanced Plastics whose dedicated workforce are focused on providing the highest levels of quality, value and customer service.
This announcement coincides with the launch of the company's new web site which can be viewed at www.advanced-plastics.co.uk
